Dear Sirs,

As a young and energetic graduate who has had previous experience in the art and fashion worlds, I believe that I would be the perfect candidate to hire for this role.

Not only am I a perfectionist who will never hand in any work that is even vaguely flawed in any way, shape or form, I am also a keen writer and blogger. I write about anything from the latest football gossip to the new must haves in the fashion and photography worlds.

Moreover, I am motivated, not only for my own success, but for the success of the business I am working for. I will be organised, on time and always professional in my work and appearance. I also believe that the nature of my degree course has prepared me for this position. It involved a great deal of independent research, requiring initiative, self-motivation and a wide range of organisational skills.

I think that working for your company will allow me to gain valuable experience in the arts and media world. More importantly, I believe that I will be of great use to your company because I am an avid lover contemporary art, photography and media. I am passionate about art, literature and drama and am a daily reader of contemporary blogs and magazines.

I have been a zealous photographer for around 6 years now, and have a huge portfolio of work. Furthermore, I excelled at photography in school and at Art College, and even had a photograph selected out of my foundation group to be published in the College magazine.

Through many assignments in both English and Philosophy, I have practised the skill of editing through my own writing. I believe I know what needs to be on a page, and what does not need to be on a page. I also know what sells and what does not sell in the media world.
