About me
Hello,
I am currently employed under Wilmington Publishing and Information. During my employment I have been given the responsibility to redesign and manage two business magazine projects, The Fundraiser and Young Lawyer. Along side these publications I am also responsible for other B2B publications - Managing Partner and Private Client Adviser, both of which communicate more corporate based content to the reader/user. I am also redesigning the websites for MP, PCA, TFR and Solicitors Journal inline with the drupal CMS capabilities. I am the lead digital designer for this process working with external developers throughout, with all websites due to go live by the end of March (2012). In addition to this, I am frequently required to create diagrams, custom graphics or retouching artwork for a diverse range of content. All work is carried out within a fast moving and focused environment where by I am constantly managing brand guidelines across outputs.
I graduated in 2009 from the London College of Printing, with a 1st class honour degree in Graphic Information Design. Studying the Information Design pathway has given me acute problem solving skills forming a platform for my expansive design process. I found my time at the LCP very fulfilling which allowed me to incorporate my passions for infographics, science, technology and design into a challenging experience. This background directs me to approach a design problem methodically while maintaining a high attention to detail as I enjoy taking complex information and making it easy to understand. I am looking forward to working with more digital mediums moving forward.
Thank you for reading.
William
