About me

I am a determined, well motivated and creative Durham graduate looking at roles within the Advertising and Digital sectors. I would be real asset to you company, given previous experience within the creative industries matched with my drive to succeed and meet targets. Being President for Society Theatre Company, whilst at university, I was heavily involved in marketing and advertising. Working with the marketing manager, I oversaw and aided in the development of the company's highly successfully marketing strategy. Initially I devised promotional events designed on enticing new students to join the company, a necessity to the survival of the business both financially and creatively. Here I was able to successfully attract over two hundred new members. Further down the line through an exact identification of our customer needs, we were able to satisfy existing theatre goers, whilst simultaneously expanding our potential market. Through the marketing and promotion of a special Valentines event we were able to increase revenues beyond all expectations. Allowing us to achieve one of our long term goals sooner, attendance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Since graduation I spent a year studying acting at one of the countries leading drama schools. And although I no longer wish to pursue a career within acting, the skills I have learnt would serve me well in such a creative sector.
