- Extensive experience in desktop publishing, national newspaper and magazine production, branding and advertising

- Working knowledge of publishing procedures, good practice and regulations

- Communicating effectively with people at all levels - being patient and dedicated to accommodating clients' requirements with care and consideration

- IT: fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, Quark Xpress, Acrobat and MS Word; using all software for design and editing purposes in addition to general administration and project management uses

- Managing people and schedules efficiently, using effective prioritisation and delegation techniques to ensure all tasks are achieved proficiently and productively
