About me
I am a front end web developer from Australia with experience in photography, graphic design and digital media. In 2011 I graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Design Studies where I majored in Digital Media, Architecture Studies, Landscape Architecture.
After graduating, I worked for 4 years in digital marketing for Holstens Pty Ltd, a multinational importer of wedding and event supplies. My roles included product photography and editing, managing the ecommerce website and social medias, creating wireframes for the new website, designing and building email newsletter campaigns and analysing those campaigns. As this is a family owned business, it was expected that I did a lot more than what was required and this is where I really learnt how fulfilling and rewarding it is to accomplish something for yourself.
In 2015 I decided to travel the world and attempt to search for a career in design which is my real passion. I have learnt (and still continue learning) to code, primarily using HTML, CSS, Javascript and related libraries and frameworks.
As a front end web developer I have worked with S&F Confectionery, publishing their website earlier this year. I am currently working with the Royal Derby Hotel in Melbourne, helping to make transitions use modern web standards and integrate CMS functionality.
