About me

For the past 4 years, I have worked in well established close knit design and art direction studios, meeting briefs and strict deadlines of a variety of different clients. Predominantly assisting the art direction of brand identity and luxurious newsstand magazines, I have experienced pitching artistic concepts to local and overseas clients, realising initial ideas through to final production. My previous experience encompasses a wide range of disciplines that answer specific briefs from sound and video editing to advertising and large fashion campaigns for a worldwide audience.

My current role as art director for Burberry demands a variety of different responsibilities; some of which include:

- Idea generation followed by physical realization, including conceptual mock-ups and model making of various luxury direct mail prototypes.

- Research, casting and Art direction of photography shoots, to the direction of post production and signing off creative.

- Preparing artwork for print and/or production. Communicating and pitching directly to clients, acknowledging and resolving problems and difficulties.

- Studio photography. I've taken on the

role of studio photographer in previous employment. Predominantly shooting still life realizing initial ideas for large campaigns, and experimental work that often formed the direction of certain projects. I am also accomplished in answering specific briefs within studio photography depending on the mood and concept of any project.

- I have experience in digital and iPad publishing, and have been at the forefront of the studio's iPad app production, redesigning entire publications for web.

- Extensive research for reference, including organizing and preparation of documents and physical assets for international client meetings.

- Overseeing multiple projects that require particular aesthetic treatments, from working closely with video production teams through to the final edits and grading.

I am efficient and proactive within the workplace and have an intelligent understanding of design and art direction and have always produced exceptional work and highly conceptual ideas to meet the standards of the studio.
