About me

Since a very early age I've endeavoured to build a career in the creative industries. I completed work experience at MoJo Partners ad agency in Sydney in 1999 in the Art Department, which then lead me into my degree and further more focused and in-depth graphic design work experience in Red Temple - the design sector of Singleton Ogilvy & Mather.

In 2005 I completed a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications at UTS with a sub-major in photography.

Throughout this prestigious four-year honours degree I developed logical and lateral thinking and problem solving skills as well as production techniques, including the development of print design and advertising - posters, books and promotional material, as well as on screen graphic design, including some web.

Since this time I have been employed by McCann Erickson in Sydney doing some design work and also as a Junior Art Director and more recently before leaving to the UK I worked at Deutscher~Menzies creating all of their marketing and advertising materials as their sole print designer across four companies.

I am proficient with all aspects of the computer, including all applications of Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Professional, Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop), Dreamweaver MX, some Flash and Final Cut Pro. I am also able to work on both Mac and PC platforms, and am proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

I love working as a part of a team and motivating the people around me, as well as taking on individual self directed projects. I thrive in creative environments and enjoy being around open minded people. I have a desire and passion for Design, this is where I hope to be, and what I hope to be doing in my future.
