About me

I'm a writer/director and performer who has been living and working in Berlin for the past three years. This year, I will be spending more time in the UK and America. I'm looking to resume my work in theater and film, either in an adminstrative or creative capacity.

ARTS ADMINISTRATION:

I'm a nonprofit arts administrator with over ten years in NYC theater, mostly as grant writer and development associate. I'm looking to transition to a more creative position. Ideally, I would love to assist in the programming or curating of a program.

THEATER/FILM:

I have won a few awards for my screenplays. I have produced theater and theatrical events for over 20 years. My filmmaking credits include a feature documentary about the untold history of Taiwan. I would be very interested in any theater or film project that deals with immigrant communities, gender issues, untold history, or marginalized groups.

Specialties:

- Broad knowledge of independent films, world cinema, classical drama and contemporary theater scene

- Deep connections within NY theater community, especially in Asian‐American theater and in the East Village

- Strong affiliations within the independent film community through Film Forum, Asian Cinevision and IFP

- Highly creative, capable of conceiving compelling thematic programs in any arts discipline

- Several years in fundraising for the arts

- Strong writing skills

- Meticulous organizer
