About me

I'm an experienced manager of prepress studio with excellent knowledge of printing and publishing industry. I was manager of prepress and DTP studio of approx. 20 people for 8 years in one of the biggest printing houses in Slovakia. My duties included organisation and scheduling of customer's jobs in a close coordination with production and sales department. I'm highly skilled in operation and administration of general and specialized graphic arts software and hardware. I was responsible for smooth running of prepress department as one of the crucial parts of customer's job production. I communicated with foreign and domestic customers and suppliers, solving different production problems, often working under time pressure.

In a very short time after my arrival to London I successfully applied for job at one of the world's biggest publishers - Penguin UK. The time limited, project based job increased my understanding of publishing industry. Work in the field of production, which is very closely connected to printing gave me the insight to the other side of "barricade".
