About me

I'm an experienced series director, producer/director and edit producer. I'm currently available for work.

I've just finished working on a new prime-time fixed rig series for BBC1 called The Button (I also made the pilot for this earlier in 2017).

Previous to my current job, I series directing and edit producing "Lego Masters", a new prime time series for Channel 4. Previous to this I series directed "How the Other Half Live" for Channel 5, a presenter led documentary series that explores the world's wealth filming billionaires abroad. I have also series directed a BBC2, four-competition series to win a plot at Chelsea Flower Show. I've also series directed a wildlife series in Asia for a foreign channel.

I've worked with a wide variety of talent and contributors on factual entertainment and documentary programmes so I know how to achieve the best delivery and performance.

I edit produced the first episode of the "Lego Masters" and last September I edit produced a new series for BBC1 at Twenty Twenty TV called 'The Best of British Takeaways' which celebrates the British takeaway and its origins. Throughout my career I have edit produced over 40 hours of terrestrial TV working with inherited footage and my own directed material.

I've extensively filmed abroad so I'm familiar with logistics involving foreign shoots. Amongst some of the foreign filming I've directed 'Chef Race', 10 x 1 hours for BBC America filmed across USA. I've also directed a travel series for Channel 4 presented by Kirsty Allsopp and Phil Spencer. I also spent a month in New York making a documentary about teenagers and relationships.

In my career, I've worked in-house at the BBC. A few years ago I produced and directed a thirteen part children's wildlife series filmed in South Africa's National Kruger Park for the BBC and a comedy led travel series for Children's BBC where the children choose a holiday to take their parents on.

In addition I have also produced and directed, "Sun Sex & Suspicious Parents", "The Great British Bakeoff" (series 2, 3 & 4) , "The Apprentice", series 2, 3, 10 and 12 (BBC2/BBC1), "Missing" (BBC1), "Bollywood Star" (9pm C4), "RHS Chelsea Flower Show" (BBC1/2) and various animal, travel and challenge-based programmes.
