I'm Tori. My last name is Nygren, which means "new branch" in Swedish. No, I'm not Vietnamese. But yes, my last name does look like Nguyen.

I'm a freelance copywriter.

Most recently, I freelanced at McCann New York where I played an instrumental role on a new business pitch, while also working on USPS TV and Tommee Tippee accounts.
Before going freelance, I spent the last 3.5 years working at Droga5 New York. During this time, Droga5 was named Cannes Lions Independent Agency of the Year (2015), One Show's Creative Agency of the Year (2015), and Agency of the Year by Creativity-Online (2014, 2015) and Adweek (). Past clients include Diet Coke, belVita, Bratz, Quilted Northern, and Athenos.

In my free time, I'm editing a documentary I produced and shot about national identity, religious beliefs, and the future of Myanmar.
Outside of work, I enjoy scuba diving, vinyasa yoga, and funk music.
