About me

I'm Victoria Martin, a UK-based illustrator and surface pattern designer creating colourful, hand-drawn artwork with a playful, whimsical feel. My work combines characterful illustration, nature, animals and pattern-led collections, with a particular love of creating imaginative little worlds filled with personality and detail.

I work across illustration and surface design, developing artwork for licensing, stationery, homeware, publishing, children's products and other creative applications. I enjoy creating work that feels joyful, curious and a little unexpected, whether that's a character-led illustration, a detailed scene or a repeat pattern.

I'm particularly interested in projects where illustration can help bring a story, product or visual world to life. I'm also very happy to develop new artwork in my existing style around a specific brief, theme or audience.

I'm currently building my freelance illustration and licensing practice and am always interested in collaborating with brands, publishers, creative studios and independent businesses on projects where my style could be a good fit.
