About me

I have been working as a Graphic Designer/Mac Operator for six and a half years. I worked for Kingfisher Knight Printing Company for 4 years. This involved designing business stationery, brochures, advertisements and creating corporate identities for local and national companies. Artwork was printed on-site therefore I gained knowledge of the printing industry. I prepared artwork for pre press and transferred to Digital plate making machine and image-setter.

For the past two and a half years (to present), I have been working for a Design Consultancy called Georgia Design Associates as a Junior Graphic Designer. My duties include providing various graphic design and studio support for the production team. I produce stationery packs, application forms, brochures, adverts and exhibition stands following specific brand guidelines. I liaise with customers on a daily basis and I provide a helpful and prompt service. I am polite, friendly and always put the clients needs first. I feel these are the essence of excellent customer service.

I have an eye for choosing images, colour schemes and creating layouts that work well and incorporating the clients' requirements. My C.V confirms I have an artistic background and educated up to Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art & Design.

I am conversant with design packages including QuarkXpress, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I am used to working to deadlines and as part of a team.
