About me

My role at Glamour has expanded due to Glamour launching the interactive ipad version of the magazine. Along with learning how to design for the iPad myself, I have led the team in designing and fine-tuning Glamour into an iPad magazine. This has included art directing a group of 3 freelance designers and being instrumental in setting up templates, production procedures and problem solving for the iPad. Alongside this

I am well versed in briefing photographers and illustrators and I have shown myself to be a key member of the team at Glamour, in particular with supporting the Art Director. I am an avid consumer and devourer of magazines and have an inexhaustible encyclopaedia of tears and visual references. You never know where a good idea will spring, or can be adapted, from. One of my strengths is generating visual ideas for content to meet the varied briefs of a women's fashion magazines.

I am extremely interested in how magazines and brands are expanding into the digital sector and how previously printed content can be brought to life to give the reader a more immersive experience.
