About me

I have worked in book publishing and have two years experience in magazine editorial and production. I am now looking to move on and further develop my skills. I thoroughly enjoyed my previous employment and the diverse responsibilities it presented; however I am excited at the prospect of working for a larger organisation with a new focus and set of challenges. I have an organised and creative mind which has the potential to focus on a variety of roles.

I am passionate about the publishing industry and have worked in books, magazines and on digital projects, along with having completed a design management degree covering both the practical and theoretical elements of the creative industries. I believe these experiences have helped to make me a strong and well rounded employee.

I have experience in a range of computing packages and a proven ability to pick things up quickly. It is an area in which I feel comfortable and have frequently found myself in an instructive role in the integration of new software. Multitasking easily, I am a natural organiser whose main talent is to get on with the job whilst always having an eye on overall workflow and the movements and queries of the team.

I am experienced in liaising with internal departments, combined with being confident in communicating with external clients. My main skills lie in an ability to maintain calm and friendly under extreme pressure whilst never compromising on standards. I thrive on the camaraderie of an editorial office and can not wait to get my teeth into a new project!
