Dear sir or madam

I have recently graduated with a First class honours degree in Graphic Design from the University of Huddersfield. This course has helped me gain many skills and given me the opportunity to explore and learn new techniques. Having recently moved from Scotland I am now looking for a permanent and challenging career that will utilise the skills that I have gained from both college and university over the past five years.

I am a driven and dedicated individual that works well under pressure to produce the best return for my employer. I am always keen to learn both practically and academically in any job I undertake and feel the opportunity to work in this role is very exciting.

During my degree I have had to work to very tight deadlines and high standards. I like to push myself to my limits to create high quality work and to complete the task in the time given. I also have experience with commercial clients and had to work under pressure to achieve the required finish outcome.

Whilst completing my degree I have also gained experience in many streams of print learning how to set up for print, for example correct dpi, best type of paper, crop marks and printing techniques.

As well as my qualifications I have 6 years experience of working in a retail environment and have gained many skills through this, such as good customer service, time management and working within a team to complete all scheduled tasks. I am currently seeking a job which will challenge my skills and create new opportunities to develop my expertise further.

I am an organised individual who likes to give myself targets and work to plans. I like to enjoy the work I am doing and ensure that the customer gets the required artwork they desire.
