About me

I am looking to start my career in the creative industries! I have just completed my masters in Design and Marketing at Northumbria University following an Honors Degree in Product Design from Edinburgh Napier University.

As well as studying for my masters degree I have also been working as Marketing Co ordinator for Oxjam Newcastle. Oxjam is a music festival in aid of the charity Oxfam and there are many festivals held throughout the country in the month of October. The role of marketing co-ordinator involves being responsible for the entire promotion of the event. Duties include managing the social networking sites, such as facebook and twitter, making sure they are constantly updated and accurate. I am responsible for all the promotional material for the event and all the fundraising events that happen prior to main takeover event in October.
I am creative, driven and always take a huge amount of pride in my work. I have the ability to think both creatively and logically (which I have recently learned to be diagonal thinking, apparently!), and thrive under pressure, tight deadlines and heavy work loads excite me rather than scare me.
