About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

Since October 2011 I have been working as a logistics administrator in a broadcast company who hire out equipment to other businesses for major sporting events. I have to work to deadlines in order for the correct engineers to be at the event. I am precise with my work and have to make sure that everything is correct before going ahead with the event. I am in charge of the engineers at the company, booking travel and hotel arrangements for them whilst on the job.

From September I completed a level 2 diploma in fashion retail and achieved a distinction grade for my work, and completed the level 3 diploma, achieving a merit in fashion retail at The Fashion Retail Academy in central London. The level covered many units including Management skills, Buying, Visual Merchandising, Merchandising, PR and Marketing and Digital Graphics. Throughout the course I had many assignments and tasks to complete to deadlines. I had to be organised, manage my time effectively and work to a schedule to ensure all tasks are finished to a high standard. During this time I helped out my brothers stone restoration business as an admin assistant carrying out general office duties such as filing, taking calls and book keeping.

I am a good communicator and always willing to listen to other people's opinion but am of strong enough character to air my own views. I can adopt new ideas and am willing to try an alternative approach where it is necessary.

I am currently an intern for an online fashion website where I write 2 articles a week about celebrities and fashion. All of my articles have been published onto the website where you can vote which outfit you prefer (*). I have a love for fashion and creative writing, attending fashion shows, exhibitions and keeping up to date with the latest trends by looking online at blogs and websites.

I am a pro-active person with a positive can-do attitude, who is willing to learn and succeed. I thrive in a fast paced environment and love to get stuck in.
