About me

Dear Bandstand team,

I'm applying for the position of Account Manager. This role looks exciting and challenging within an industry that I really enjoy. I believe I have the relevant experience that you are looking for in this role. I've been working as a project artwork and approvals co-ordinator for Kinnerton Confectionery, the UK's largest character confectionery company, for the past 3 years, I work within the design and marketing team on the confectionery packaging.

My role as a project artwork and approvals co-ordinator overlaps many of the attributes that you are looking for in an Account Manager. For example I have constant liaising with licensors, printers and a creative team, this involves briefing projects and amends to the creative team, submitting and explaining products to licensors and briefing, releasing and signing off artworks to printers.

I'm involved in client meetings with licensors and printers, also I have day to day contact with them, I have a great relationship with both I find this helps projects run more smoothly. Our creative team is based in house; I attend launch meetings with them and weekly product development meetings.

I manage my own deadlines, after being given a launch date to work towards, I am extremely efficient with managing my work load and will work beyond what is expected of me to get the job done on time, in my current role if I don't hit my file to printer and sign off dates the whole line could be in jeopardy, so the pressure really is on. My current role expects a high level of attention to detail, it's my job to make sure the licensor is 100% happy with the product before we go to production, I also brief all the nutritional and technical information that goes onto the packaging and sign final artworks off to print.

I'm extremely proactive and creative and I love exploring new ways of showcasing products/brands, Bandstand looks like a fun and creative company that would allow me to do this. I'm fun, hardworking and love a challenge, I believe people make a company and are its main reason for success and new business and I want to be part of a company that feels this way too.

I've attached my CV, I don't have a portfolio but I have attached a link to the Kinnerton Confectionery website *, unfortunately not all the products have been uploaded yet. If you require a more comprehensive catalogue of the lines I have worked on please let me know and I will be happy to forward existing Kinnerton brochures onto you.

My salary expectation would be around £26,000 to £28,000

Thank you for taking the time to consider my application.
