About me

As communications director at Red Setter, I'm leading and creating all comms activity for the agency. I'm a strategist, writer, PR consultant, content creator, designer (*cough* apologies to all my actual designer, writer and strategist friends) and an all-round agency cheerleader.
Having been an agency PR consultant all my working life (and having run my own agency then as an independent PR ), my focus has always been on delivering results and the best in client service. I started as communications director in January 2021 to transform Red Setter's comms through PR and social - doubling LinkedIn followers in just one year and helping to create a culture of content and celebration within the agency.
My career highlights of working with consumer brands, corporates and blue-chips include:
- Winning 'Newcomer of the Year' in my first agency job
- Getting more than my fair share of front-page (national) coverage in my years...there's still nothing quite like it when you know you've got the right PR strategy and a bit of luck on your side
- Winning a number of PR campaign awards over the years
- Mentoring some excellent people who have gone on to rule the PR world
- Helping to grow agencies
- Landing a job at Red Setter and finding out that the design industry is simply the most exciting industry to be involved with
