About me

My name is Veronica Pirazzini and I graduated in June 2007 in
Architecture at the University of Bologna (Italy). Since I was at
University I have worked on the publishing and graphic field.

My current professional position is Production and Visual
Coordinator at Matteo Thun & Partners, a Milan based design and
architecture firm.

The core tasks of my position involve all the graphic and visual design
works of the firm - project presentations, brochures, catalogues
layout, product packaging design, corporate identity for exhibition
projects, visual projects, retail design, architectural competition
layout and the photo shoots organization.

I have a solid knowledge of the print process (both digital and offset
system) and I keep the contacts with both suppliers and photographers.
My role also include the managing of small teams (max 7 people) and the
visual projects budget control. Given the singular structure of the
firm I am working for and despite of my age, I find myself in a very
strategic professional position which allows me to work totally under
my own initiative.

Before working in Milan, I worked for Archea Associati, an
architecture firm with a strong department of publishing and graphic
design based in Florence. I was editor assistant of the Italian
architectural magazine “d'Architettura” (quarterly
magazine) and of the international architectural magazine
“Area” (montly magazine) edited by Il Sole 24 Ore Busines
Media Group. My tasks included working on the contents, the making of
the layouts, the managing of the contacts with architects, companies
and the magazine budget control.

I am still collaborating with Area magazine and Il Sole 24 ORE
Business Media Group in the role of freelance visual consultant.

As you may notice from my curriculum vitae, in the last few years, I
also published several articles of design concerning cities, hotels,
wineries and products.

During my studies at the university I worked as graphic designer for
several Italian architectural

firms including Archea Associati in the Beijing office. The 10 months
work experience in China helped me out in the writing of my final
dissertation which consisted in a project for a new architectural
magazine about Italian architecture in China.

All the work experiences that I gained in the last years pointed out
my capabilities of team working and taught me to give my best in
dynamic and stressful contests.

In Addition I am an organized and a multitasking person.

I am an architect with a solid knowledge as visual and graphic
designer particularly regarding the architectural and the product
design fields - with four years of experience.

I have also a strong interest for art and fashion.
