About me

Vanessa's 14-years-and-counting career has taken her from sunny Los Angeles to the even sunnier and more humid Singapore, where she's helped develop many below the line, above the line, through the line, and you-won't-believe-this-deadline campaigns for global, regional, and local brands.

Her portfolio includes work that is both B2B and B2C, across a wide variety of industries, including FMCG, Hospitality, Banking & Finance, Technology, Government Public Services, and Sports & Entertainment.

Some of the clients she's had the opportunity to work with include Samsung, Hisense, Standard Chartered, Mastercard, FairPrice, William Grant & Sons, Tiffany & Co., UOB, Marina Bay Sands, Disney, and 20th Century Fox.

Currently, she's a Creative Director at Octagon, where on the day-to-day you'll catch her angrily typing on her laptop (she blames it on the loudness of the keyboard), waxing lyrical about Taylor Swift, and dreaming up how to share the best stories with the world.

Vanessa graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Communications and a minor in Cinematic Arts from the University of Southern California. She also has a MA in Communications and New Media from the National University of Singapore.
