Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing with interest in the Workflow/Project Manager position currently advertised and I attach my CV for your consideration.

I believe I am a good candidate for this position as I have many years experience in the publishing and graphic design industry; having worked on weekly publications I understand the importance of good scheduling practice and tight deadline control. In previous positions I have initiated many projects so appreciate what is required of new projects, I have also been brought onto projects that were falling behind to bring them back onto schedule and budget.

I have extensive experience in liaising with clients, achieving the required results, running large teams of designers, editors and production staff, as well as commissioning and managing freelance staff, including authors, illustrators and photographers.

I thrive on new challenges, my organisational skills are excellent, I am a good motivator and am able to resolve problems creatively and quickly.
