About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my interest in the Account Executive position, as advertised on the website Creative Pool.

My passion for marketing and my administrative skills has enable me to develop some fantastic experience that I would be delighted to be able to apply to a position that combines a challenge and opportunity. Having the opportunity to manage, Juna Fruits in the UK, I have gained valuable operational, administrative and communicational experience that has enable me to lead successfully the company in a competitive market.

My proven experience within different areas of marketing, including as an Account Executive at DDB Colombia, has given me the ability to work within different environments and different people. I managed a number of high profile accounts including Visa Colombia and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge presented by the role as well as working for DDB Group.

While completing my MA in Marketing, Communications and Advertising at Kingston Business School, I obtained an internship at the communications and public relations department of the renowned brand, Bottega Veneta. This was a great opportunity to gain insight into how luxury develop and implement effective campaigns across different media channels.

It was during this time that I decided to build upon my passion for marketing by supporting the creation of my family's jewellery business with my administrative and marketing experience. The 18 months of designing and developing the infrastructure and branding of the company has been a fantastic and rewarding experience. I have explored the world of design; and negotiated not only with businesses but with individual craftsman, suppliers and creative. I have also supervised and worked with web designers to create the Wordpress website, logo and brand.

Added to my relevant work experience, I have excellent interpersonal skills that not only enable me to work as part of, or lead, a team, but they also enable me to form valuable relationships with all stakeholders within the organisation. My ability to ensure that timings and budgets are met without compromising headcount or value are the skills I am most proud of.

Further evidence of my professionalism and diligence have afforded me the opportunity to plan and manage a number of high profile international events and key campaigns, including working on the Green Party Presidential Campaign in Colombia, which won a number of Nova awards, and for the International Trade Bureau while at the Colombian Embassy in Paris.

In my previous roles I have also had a high degree of experience in strategic and operational planning and implementation. My multi cultural experiences have given me true life experience that when combined with my innovation and creativity, I feel, would enable me to significantly contribute to your team.
