Dear Sir ou Madam

I am writing to express my interest in the post of Copywriter.

As the Beauty Editor for L'Express Styles, I work bilingually, interviewing artists, models, fashion experts and designers in both English and French for that weekly French magazine. In my role as head of the section, I am experienced in proofing and editing copy to the last detail, often on a short time schedule as the pages go to press.

I also write as a freelancer to write copy and press kit for cosmetic luxury brands : I usually write about perfume. I also interviewed perfume ambassador for brands. I'm used to adapt my writing to the brand I'm writing for. I focus on writing smoothly, keeping the message clear and understandable by the readers.

Prior to my role as Beauty Editor, I worked for three years on the editorial team responsible for the website L'Express Styles. During that time, wrote and edited web articles and I developed my knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and the use of social media.

Attached you will find my Curriculum Vitae (also available in French) and see that I studied for a year in the United States, at Cornell University, New York State, where I completed my Master's thesis on gender and cinema. I also taught French as a foreign language to American students there. I'm a native French speaker, but passionate about Anglo-American culture.
