About me

My name is Valentina Grasso and I am a London based freelance 2D character animator and a traditional and digital illustrator.

I am trained and have extensive experience as both digital (Flash/After Effects) and traditional animator, as well as two years experience as a traditional and digital illustrator/graphic designer.

I achieved a painting degree at the Rome Academy of Fine Arts (my hometown) and I had my training in animation at the London Animation Studio (Central Saint Martins) where I graduated in 2008, achieving a PG Dip in 2D character animation (traditional and digital).

Since I graduated from Central Saint Martins, I worked as a Flash and traditional animator in quite a few London based animation studios (such as Chase Imagination, Trunk Animation, Bold Creative, PartizanLab, Picasso Pictures, BreakThru Films, Glasshead, Tandem Films) and I have also been freelancing in various projects for several clients and public art projects (see my CV for all details).

My style is very versatile as you will see from my work. I am a very good draughts person, as well as a knowledgeable digital artist.

I am a hard working professional and I always do my best at work to achieve the best results, and I find very rewarding to accomplish a new work challenge with success.
