About me

I have just earned an MA in Linguistics and am eager to develop my career as a copy-editor. My past experience of working for a variety of different publishers, authors and editors gave me a good understanding of different kinds of media, including print, online and broadcast, as well as an ability to tailor tone and message for different audiences and media. I care about perfection of detail and am able to maintain high quality standards whilst multitasking and working to tight deadlines.

In addition, my resume shows that I have several years of experience as an office manager and that I have been consistently rewarded for hard work with promotions and increased responsibilities. These rewards are a direct result of my expertise in administration and customer service, my commitment to personal and professional excellence and my written and oral communication skills. While have enjoyed my work as an office manager, I am now determined to return to copy-editing.
