Good morning,

my name is Ursu Mihnea, I'm an Account Manager working for Initiative Media Romania on Starbev account (former Inbev). I am 33 years old, from Romania, living in Bucharest and today I discovered your job offer. So I decided to send an application for this job hoping that you will send me back an answer no matter if it is positive or negative.

I am in contact with the advertising market since 2000 when I got my first job in this field at a monitoring advertising company, named AlfaCont. After 4 years of spying the market I had moved on to my first real communication company which was International Media Shop where I discovered the research field and then the media planning.

From 2006 since 2008 I have worked for Starlink Group, beeing Senior Media Planner for clients as Cristim (FMCG), Newmarkt (beer), Citroen and AutoItalia both auto. During 2008 and 2011 I have been Account Manager for Mindshare Media (Ogilvy Group owned by WPP) working for Cosmote ( second place in telecom market) but also for clients as LG, Mazda, Royal Bank of Scotland. Main tasks were developing media strategies, supervising and optimizing the media plans that the team of 4 colleagues were developing (TV, Print, Out of Home, Digital); negotiating media costs with the suppliers, keeping a day to day contact with the client (presentation of the media strategies, post evaluations of the campaigns, media market status, competitive reviews.

During Jan 2009 until Mar 2001 I have been Invention Media Manager in the same company, basically building media strategies for integrated campaigns, using new ways of communication through existing media channels and finding new advertising channels. Portfolio: Chipita, Muller, Bvlgari, Blue Air, Cocolino.

As Online Manager (Mar 2010 - Mar 2011) I have developed on line media strategies and campaigns (display banners, special projects, Google ad-words, social network), monitoring and optimizing the campaigns, negotiating media costs with the suppliers.

As I said in the beginning of this email right now I am Account Manager at Initiative Media Romania (LOWE GROUP) working for Starbev (beer - Bergenbier, Beck's, Stella Artois, Staropramen, Noroc).

Starbev is one of the most important player in the beer market in terms of sales but also communication. They have been the official sponsor of the Romanian National Football Team, they are the official sponsor of the First Romanian Football League, communicating constantly during the year, being always under pressure because of a crowded market.
