WHAT ARE WORDS WORTH
Exceptional content in the digital age is key, if not critical to business success and that's why you want to hire me. It's my job to make it really easy for you to deliver words and images that help you to not only stand out but shine out in a crowded and competitive market place.
Story-telling, the ability to take customers on a journey, to develop deep emotional connections, to persuade them to love who you are and what you do is my life's work, purpose and passion. Pitches, presentations and press management is what I do.
I specialise in copy and content writing, PR, crisis, reputation and event management, marketing and brand building and use these skills to drive business, attract new customers and press attention as well as protecting and promoting corporate reputation.
I am motivated, self-directed and deadline driven assisting organisations to deliver the right message, to the right audience, at the right time on the right platform using the right tone of voice. I achieve that through producing high quality content, influencing the news agenda, writing press releases, selling in stories, securing airtime and delivering headlines, news and features across local, regional, national and international print, broadcast and digital media.
I've worked on global campaigns to promote the work of international golfing sensation Rory McIlroy, film stars Liam Neeson and James Nesbitt for the BBC's Five Minutes of Heaven and Jamie Dornan for The Fall; Channel 4's Robbie Coltrane's series Trains, Planes and Automobiles and am currently working on a global health science project for the prestigious Institute of Global Food Security at Queen's University, Belfast.
Carlin Creative is not another PR company. It's a consultancy built on my own unique set of skills and experiences working in senior marketing communications roles with top creative talent for 20-years at Channel 4 Television, ITV and the BBC in London, Scotland, Northern Ireland and English Regions.
I believe this is what sets me apart and has instilled a passion for excellence in the written and spoken word, the ability to produce at the highest level and to be responsive and adaptive to changing, challenging and often controversial situations and environments.
Broadcasting by its very nature has no shortage of talent, ambition, ideas, genres, programmes subjects or crises. It's in a constant state of evoloution. This means I am able and up for any communications challenge, no matter what the issue, industry or sector. It makes Carlin Creative an ideal partner for new and existing creative businesses (but not limited to) studio, film, television and digital sectors.
My ambition is simple.
It's to provide clients with an exceptional service based on the belief that your brand and promise of value to your customers is just as important as my own. There is joy to be had in creating great content, being competitive on your behalf, believing in great partnership work and in celebrating your success.
I make a difference by taking the standard and elevating it into something really special. No matter the scale of the content or communications challenge, as a trained journalist and creative writer I pay attention to quality, accuracy and the smallest of detail, putting your business needs and priorities, your clients and customers at the heart of the creative process.
I want to partner with you to create great content, win new business, deepen existing relationships, forge new connections, create excitement and energy about your services and products as well as driving publicity, generating headlines, creating talking points and building trusted brands.
