About me

I have more than 10 years experience working both agency and client side within the social media, content and digital marketing industries, in both London and Sydney. I would descibe my character as inquisitive, not easily satisifed and very motivated. I value emphathy and hard work.

My experience has led me across verticals including; FMCG, FInance, Technology and Sport. I would describe my approach as high attention to detail and data-driven.

My career to date has seen me work in positions at Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Unilever, AxiCorp, BSkyB, and 1000heads.

Most recently I built AxiCorp's social approach from scratch. In the two years I had in role, social lead generation went from zero to providing a third of new-traded accounts, generating a strong bottomline for the business.

At Microsoft Australia, I was responsible for leading the social response for both the consumer and commercial sides of the business. This included navigating various brand and product campaigns, at a global, regional and local level. We had ownership for both customer engagement and ongoing lead-generation for our Cloud and Enterprise team.

Prior to that, I operated as Content Manager at Coca-Cola South Pacific. My responsibilities focused around ownership of the portfolio of brands (11) and the 'always-on' and 'campaign' responses provided by social media. This included building social strategies for the brands, implementing relevant processes to streamline legal and compliance input, as well as reporting and internal advocacy/education.

As a Digital Account/Community Manager for 1000heads, I was involved in various social & creative strategies across platforms ranging from Facebook and Twitter, to YouTube and WordPress (blog). My role fed closely into large scale event management for live and experiential activities.

The flagship accounts I worked on were Nokia, leading the editorial strategy for the Nokia Advocacy Programme alongside Western Union Business Solutions.

I had an excellent education working within the FMCG sector having been an assistant brand manager at Unilever. My role as a European Marketing Executive for Becel (Flora), saw my responsibilities include, rolling out global campaigns to local markets. This meant working heavily with various internal and external stakeholders.
