He is a published author, co-authoring with journalist António Mateus ("Mandela, the Exemplary Rebel", Planeta Editores, 2013). He participated in the representation of Portugal at DesignMai, Berlin (2006), with the project "One ring, two hundred minds", a jewellery exhibition promoted by AICEP and curated by designer Marco Sousa Santos.
He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon. In his artistic project, Nuno Tuna's theoretical basis is transhumanist philosophy and speculative science, where he poses questions to himself about ethics, associated with themes such as the relationship between Humanity and technology, Human Augmentation, life extension, memory, and immortality.
This introspective approach leads to the creation of abstract works in drawing, painting, sculpture, and video, leaving their interpretation to the viewer's imagination.
