About me

I am a Brazilian designer and researcher since 2006. I concluded my master degree in ergonomics PhD at Loughborough University where I am about to conclude my PhD.

Graduated in Industrial Design in Brazil I first worked in the automotive area, developing concepts at university and niche models for Latin America market, such as Peugeot 206 Adventure and Renault Scénic Sportway. For many reasons I decided for a complete turn around in my career and joined the NGO Noisinho da Silva, developing inclusively designed projects, assistive technologies and social enterprises for the disabled children inclusion. Using a user-centred and participatory approach, all projects designed at Instituto Noisinho da Silva received the highest Brazilian awards and helped including hundreds of disabled children. All these opportunities made me an expert and ambassador of user-centred methods and inclusive design, no matter if the challenge is the design of products, graphic pieces or services.
