About me

With a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Entertainment Technology

from the University of Portsmouth and experience working with the BBC, I

may be the candidate you are seeking to fill the position of runner. I am a highly motivated self-starter who can work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

While at the University of Portsmouth, I obtained the knowledge needed

to begin a career in the broadcast industry. Video and Editing

and web authoring courses taught me how to manage projects, equipment

and studio personnel. In addition I have obtained qualifications in

computing which have given me a solid understanding on how both

windows and apple systems operate, which allows me to work with

a broad range of systems and software.

During my Work Experience at BBC Top Gear, I developed skills needed to

help meet the tight deadlines of the show. Some of my responsibilities

included runners duties in and outside of the office, assisting camera

crews with equipment when on external shoots and assisting studio

personnel when filming the show.

With my willingness to learn, my education and my background in the

entertainment industry, I can provide dependable, accurate, and timely

work.
