About me

I began my journey as a primary school teacher, self teaching myself in the art of makeup in my spare time. Untill I realised my true passion lay in make up artistry. However I do feel I have many transferable skills from my time as a teacher which has helped me with my creativity, patience, perseverance, attention to detail and fantastic oral and written communication skills.

I am now a highly dedicated qualified (level 2 media makeup) and skilled makeup artist with an exceptional record of customer service and client satisfaction. Adept at tailoring to the individual clients unique skin tone, colour and characteristics and corresponding makeup needs. Able to work well independently or as part of a team.

Experience of all types of make up application including editorial and fashion, theatre, film and SFX, a great understanding of the importance of continuity in film ensuring characters looks are always the same and on point.

I am always looking for ways to hone my skills and would love the opportunity to work under a more seasoned Make-up artist. I understand the importance of this and wish to enhance or consolidate my existing skills in order to open up new areas of expertise or to produce a better quality work. I am currently studying towards a level 3 in theatrical makeup to help better my skills.

I understand that fashion and makeup is constantly evolving and is a continuous learning curve. There is always new techniques, products and tools and I hope to be at the forefront of it all by keeping myself up to date.

I am interested in working in all aspects in the makeup industry, I enjoy being creative and welcome any challenge.
