About me

TracyAnn Thomas was born and raised in Queens, New York. She decided to go into film and TV because watching movies and different TV shows always made her wonder about how people managed to make those movies and shows look so real. From then on, her interest in acting and post production grew. She went to Lynn University, in Florida, and majored in Film and TV. After that, she went to New York Film Academy to finish off her education. When it comes to experience, she has learned a lot about making, directing and editing film from Lynn University, and then learned to do it more hands-on and theory-focused at New York Film Academy. She directed 9 short films, produced 7 of them, and also acted in 1 short film. Tracy is very proficient in Avid, Premiere Pro CC, Da Vinci, iMovie and Final Cut. Her career goal and passion is to become a successful film or TV editor.
