I am an experienced and reliable sub-editor, used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines, editing copy, writing headlines and laying out pages. I am skilled in Quark XPress, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. I have been a sub-editor on many magazines and newspapers and have also worked as a magazine chief sub-editor. Before turning to sub-editing, I worked first as a newspaper reporter and then as a feature writer, including a spell of two years on the Daily Mail.
