About me
I'm the hardest thing I've ever had to advertise. My competition is varied and ambitious, and I'm targeting experienced creatives. However, I do have a unique skill set developed at a top level agency. And since I'm from New Zealand, I have the advantage of being an outside observer of British culture. So, refraining from cliché and hyperbole, here's a brief summary of me.
Studying at Auckland University of Technology, I learnt the fundamentals of creative advertising. I applied these skills to real client briefs, and my ideas were shortlisted for a variety of brands. I was also a finalist in the News Works student awards. From this, I earned myself a place at Colenso BBDO.
During my time there, I was mentored by creatives, account managers, and creative directors. This accelerated my understanding of the industry and the creative process. . I worked on a variety of briefs, from campaigns to one-off experiential stunts. Now I'm in London, I want to continue in the creative industry.
