I have a BSc in Digital Film, 3D & Animation technology, and a recent MA graduate with Raindance in Innovative ways to schedule & finance projects, including contractual and IP & copyright law in which I gained a Merit. Something I did just to learn more.
I come from a post-production background then became Freelance back in 2012. I've taken on various positions including Digital Image Technician, Cameraman, Director, DOP, Producer, post-production supervisor, colourist, editor mainly for Music & Corporate videos & Commercials. So, I have a vast amount of knowledge in most, if not all, aspects of video production.
Have experience in managing/ producing multiple projects of various budgets, sizes and teams- sometimes juggling at time, some at the same stage. My experience is also global and have had to produce content in VERY harsh and challenging conditions; one being the Sahara Desert. Even though my job has been to oversee/ manage teams and projects, at times I have had to step into multiple roles in which I have been successful.
Creative Studios/ production houses have used my services in a consultant capacity which includes staff training, creating efficient workflows and pipelines and general studio setup- what needs to be hired/ bought and built etc.
I am a creative, however, my degree is a BSc, so very scientific and heavily involved with light physics, colour theory, encoding and decoding, compression, colour-spaces etc.
I am looking to move from freelancing to something more permanent. I get on with anyone and everyone and find it easy, however, this energy can be used elsewhere rather than having to get to know different people and keep building relationships from new all the time. I'd like to work as part of a "full-time" team.
Am looking forward to hearing from you.
All the best,
