About me

Tomoko Kanazawa

To whom it may concern,

I am a passionate person from Japan who would like to work in overseas, especially in England. I am a native Japanese and I have got a degree from

Kuwasawa Design school in Tokyo. Since I would like to combine my passion with my job, I am strongly looking for a permanent job in London as

an illustrator or Manga creator.

During my studies, I mainly learnt about Fashion design, and I developped my knowledge about fashion, creating clothes with thousand of designed

pictures and patterns. Besides I studied different fields as Western Arts, Graphic design and Architect design too. As a self-made woman, I improved

my creativity about Textile design, shaping a dress for the Ecology Fashion Show, Tokyo, 2002. I gained experience working in backstage of several

Fashion shows where I dealt with logistics. I even got the opportunity to present my drawings at a Japanese Painter's exhibition in 2005.

I occasionally worked as a free lance illustrator and I am making my own Manga at the same time. My skills cover different kind of techniques as

water color, Poster color and apply on different topics as fashion dress ,especially Kimono and Ukiyoe (japanese floatting prints).

Through many trips in Europe more than a year and Asia, I had the opportunity to discover various cultures which made my mind open and my

vision wider, affecting my art work actively. I am always looking forward meeting new people and i am ready to make
