Photography Professional based in London

Since graduating with a BA in Photography in 2010 I have undertaken ventures that have enabled me to gain experience in media and visual arts industries as well as affording me the opportunity to travel.

These include a six-month period working as a Studio/Production Assistant at a photography and graphic design studio in Zurich, Switzerland, and time spent travelling Southern Africa alongside two fellow graduates working with a South African gallery producing photography projects.

Between these periods I interned at photographic advertising agency Webber Represents in London.

Since returning from South Africa to the UK in May I have been working freelance as a Picture Editor for an international shopping magazine.

Sector Experience

Freelance Picture Editor, Global Blue Media, Freelance web and print image retouch for international publication SHOP magazine, Studio/Production Assistant, Studio CRR, Working as part of a team of designers for an independent professional graphic designer and photographer. With a focus on the photographic and image based elements of the design process, I assisted in the research and development of projects and design strategies. In addition I implemented and developed marketing strategies through social media applications for a side initiative of the studio aimed at promoting dialogue in the photographic community of Zurich through a programme of meetings, events and exhibitions. Finally I assisted in the production of both personal/art and advertising shoots, produced a photographic archive of the studios catalogue of works, and assisted in the coordination of events and a major solo exhibition.
