About me
Tom is a commercially aware product designer, with a passion for getting to grips with manufacturing processes, and an education centred on empathic design.
Prior to working with Hillside Product Design, Tom worked as a product manager within the automotive industry - providing vital experience of the fundamentals of business and sourcing.
Tom has had the privilege to be part of projects of all shapes and sizes, from injection moulded fridge lockers, to investment cast golf putters and aerospace test probes. One highlight was seeing Xylobands, a range of products Hillside Product Design were instrumental in developing take centre stage at Glastonbury during Coldplay's headline performance.
In his spare time he can often be found in the workshop - usual working on his 3D printer or casting new parts for it.
