Early twenties
But wait - there's more! Since graduating in 2014, I have worked in a variety of roles and fields, from a small manufacturer in the West Midlands to a cloud consultancy in the City. My focus has been and remains on marketing, particularly around the production and promotion of high-quality written content. Before that, I ran my own bicycle business whilst studying for my degree, thereby self-funding my studies in a really hands-on way.
I have extensive experience of freelance writing work, and can produce anything from short product or advertising copy to longform blog posts on almost any topic (given some research, of course). Recent clients have included a fast-growing London events startup, and I have a strong history of brand voice work.
I want to further my experience by stepping things up a notch, not only writing such copy but by taking the lead in the production of content in a highly creative way a way that is informed not only by my own writing instinct but by the consideration of SEO effectiveness, commercial interest and the input of my colleagues.
