Dir Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the Web Designer job listed and enclose my CV for your consideration.

I wish to apply for this role as the knowledge and experience that I have gained from university, I believe is ideal for the position advertised and wish to expand my knowledge further with a well established web development company. As the Internet is constantly expanding this is an area that I am very interested in joining. This was one of the main reasons for choosing to study this discipline at university.

I have recently graduated from the University of Salford with a BSc (Hons) in Multimedia & Internet Technology where I obtained a 2:1 degree classification. As part of my course I learned many different aspects of creating media for the web using different web languages including HTML, CSS. Also as part of my course I learnt how to use different Adobe products from the Creative Suite collection, as well as expanding my knowledge of Photoshop, which I have past experience of as I have studied Graphic Design at A Level.

My personal skills include the ability to work as part of group and actively contribute to the team as well as working independently. Over the past few months I have learnt how to balance demands of my studies and both of my part time jobs.

I am excited at the prospects of joining a well-established web development company and becoming a valuable asset to the organisation.
