About me

Primarily a motion graphics designer and animator, I have also worked in a number of capacities within film and television as well as traditional design.

Upon leaving school I completed a graphic design course and started work in desktop publishing laying out magazines and newspapers as well as illustrating.

At this time a little voice whispered in my ear that making things move was much more fun and with that in mind I applied for the "Visual Communications" course at the University of Technology Sydney.

On graduating in 2002, I worked steadily as a freelancer on music videos, commercials, websites and short films as an animator, designer, Illustrator, storyboard artist and in various art departments.

In 2005 I joined "Beyond International" to create animated graphics for the "Mythbusters" TV series and worked there until when I decided to travel the world, seeking broader experience.

I have well-developed skills operating Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash, Premiere, Final Cut pro and Lightwave 3D to produce professional level material from my own creative Ideas and the briefings of others.

Primarily I am interested in all forms of the moving image with my principal focus being animation. I also have an affinity for editing and cinematography as well as production design and have first hand experience of applying these methodologies to several short films and numerous music videos and TVC's.
