About me

Dear gr8 Recruitment
How would you like to employ a head designer looking to leave his
mark on a new design studio.
I'm currently employed by the small yet competitive design/web and
print studio Far'n'Beyond LTD, where I started as a junior
designer in January 2007, I am now head of design, with responsibility
for all the key print and web designs that run throughout the studio.
My other key duty is the training and management of the other design
team over the company's two offices.

My work include designs for printing, web site design (HTML &
Flash) print management, Flash animation, advertising design, email
campaigns and working directly with clients, as a member of a team or
individually.
I have taken valuable experience from the position both with my
design skills but also with the realities of dealing with client
relationships, issues of professional responsibility and
competitiveness, but now feel that I have gained as much as I can from
this position and am now seeking the next step on my career and
development within this industry.
My key specialism is in using a wide range of styles and mediums to
create high end artwork to suit the clients needs. Though naturally I
feel I have much more potential and am eager to deal with a firm which
will develop my skills further and who will benefit from me, playing a
valued part within their team.
As you can see from my enclosed resume I can be a great asset to a
company based on my design ability and experience being part of and
managing a dedicated creative team.

I realise you're probably very busy this time of year but I would
greatly value an opportunity to meet and have your opinion on my
portfolio.
I have enclosed my resume and examples of my work can be seen on my
website tomreesdesign.com or can also be seen in this month's
issue of Advanced Photoshop.
Looking forward to hearing from you

Tom Rees
