About me

British Columbia, Canada was my location no less than a week ago. It was my plan to look for work in the canadian graphic design field. Sadly, this plan was not ment to be, though I was shown interest by certain company's, none of them were willing to wait for a work visa to be processed, which is understandable. So I have returned from the land of maple syrup, back home for some good old english tea and crumpets. I am a graduate from Portsmouth University and since then I have been busying myself as a freelance graphic designer, I keep myself to a strict shecdule and work very hard at what I do. I now long for the experience that a business enviroment can give me. It is my aim to become an art director, and manage projects from start to finish. As for as my graphic design knowledge, I am Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop, expereinced in QuarkXpress and Indesign, understand both PC and MAC operating systems. During my Free time in Canada I taught myself Flash 8 and have been successful in using it to construct websites and animations. My freelance work has included creating logos for web based and other businesses, completing illustrations and personal artwork from weddings and musical artists to everyday people. I have a good eye for layout, a good watch for time keeping and if my business flexibility was physical, I would be writing this with both legs over my head.
