About me

To whom it may concern,

My name is Tom Cuppage and I am a recent graduate from the University of Southampton. I have obtained a BA (hons) in Graphic Art, achieving a high 2.1. I am now looking to move into a junior designer role within the creative industry. I am interested in a permanent position but I am also open to any temporary work available.

Most of my previous experience lies in branding and brand communication. However I am also extremely interested in advertising and type design as all my self initiated briefs in university were directed at these fields. My career interests lie in marketing, branding, advertising and type design.

I have recent studio experience and, since I have left university, I have set up a small successful branding business creating logos for small start up companies.

I think my work shows that I think differently and I enjoy the challenge of thinking outside the box. My ideal working environment would be a place that challenged and tested me creativity on a day to day bases.

I enjoy working as part of a team, yet am also very capable of working as an individual. I am a very willing, fast learner and take instruction well, but have the ability to work off my own initiative. I am a very sociable person, easy to get on with and very approachable.

I feel that I have only really just begun in this industry. I am hungry to gain more experience and excited to develop my own creativity, ultimately launching my career in the creative industry.
