More than two decades of writing and editing experience across a wide spectrum of genres. A passion for storytelling that goes back to Greek mythology, Jules Verne, and Roald Dahl. An imagination and vocabulary informed by the "golden era" of Marvel and DC comics. Work ethic inherited from a single mother/full-time nurse and wherewithal forged from overcoming extraordinary obstacles on carnival midways across America. In short, my qualifications don't come out of a can, and my career path has been anything but smooth or conventional... and I wouldn't have it any other way. So if my bullet points don't resemble the prim and trendy CV of that shiny college grad or the MBA with Ivy League contacts, consider: Maybe that's a good thing.
