About me

Director and Photographer Todd Antony was born in New Zealand, where the skies are blue, the sheep are abundant, and everyone pretends they're not living directly adjacent to any number of volcanoes. These days, he's switched NZ for London, trading natural beauty for rain-soaked charm and British sarcasm.

His personal projects over the last few years have taken him to all corners of the globe, as he seeks out little known groups or subcultures. Seemingly ordinary people who lead extraordinary lives in their own way. People that can lift a mirror up to show viewers both our differences, but more importantly our many similarities, in a time when the world is seemingly becoming more and more polarised.

He has been working as a photographer for 15 years and his work has featured in numerous awards, picking up 2 Golds in the 101st ADC Awards (2022) for his project 'Flying Stars' on the amputee footballers of Sierra Leone. Which was also featured in the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize. And won best short documentary at the . Indie Short Fest and One Short Film Fest in New York, and Official Selection for numerous other festivals around the world. As was his short documentary film 'Poms' . He has been awarded in the American Photography Awards, International Photography Awards, AOP Awards, and has been included multiple times in Lurzer's Archive '200 Best Advertising Photographers Worldwide'.
