About me
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you in response to your Junior Graphic Designer role posted on Creative Pool.
With my experience in design and my enthusiasm for creativity, I am confident that I would make a very successful candidate. I am proficient using the Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop Illustrator) and I have grown up with a family of designers. I have been introduced to graphic design and Macs from a very young age, this has given me a very strong and reliable skill set.
Whilst working at Metrodome Distribution I have had the opportunity to work on a very large volume of projects. This covers Theatrical film posters, national press adverts, dvd sleeves, invitations, and much more. As the only in-house designer I have a great deal of responsibility; creatively and technically, I enjoy this as I am a highly self-motivated person. Working from concept through to the end product has given me the skills needed to work independently and reliably, however I never pass on an opportunity to learn from others.
I would bring enthusiasm, lateral thinking, and a conscientious attitude to your creative team. I am always excited at the prospect of working on a new project, something which I believe is key to success in the creative industry. Design is my passion and it gives me such joy and pride to see my posters on the London Underground and my DVD sleeves in retail stores.
